LDAC Wireless Listening Technology

LDAC Wireless Listening Technology

LDAC is a new audio technology that allows you to enjoy Hi-Res wireless audio via Bluetooth. Unlike others in the past, LDAC can transmit 3x the data to enhance wireless listening for all audiophiles.

Why LDAC is necessary?
Loss in sound quality during current Bluetooth transmission (SBC) due to:
1, Down convert hi-res (96kHz/24-bit) to CD (44.1kHz/16-bit)
2, SBC codec transmits less volume of the converted data, leading to loss of sound dynamics.

How powerful is LDAC?
:
1. Possibility to maintain maximum bit depth and frequency of HD 96kHz/24-bit.

2, High compression efficiency and reproduction

3, LDAC transfers data in almost 3 times more efficient compared to SBC.

Compare with Qualcomm’s aptX

Since LDAC supports the transfer of 24-bit, 96 kHz (Hi-Res) audio files wirelessly via Bluetooth, the closest competing codec is Qualcomm’s aptX HD that can support 24-bit, 48 kHz audio data.

We didn't get to the most exciting part yet, good news for AP80 owners! The latest firmware 1.0.1 update enables AP80 to be fully compatible with LDAC so you guys can enjoy it now after updating the firmware. (Click here to update)
