Tamson, the founder and the CEO of Hidizs, did care. He was an audiophile and fronted an underground rock band in college. Hidizs’ first pocket HiFi audio player - AP100 - was officially launched at CES, the most influential tech event in the world, in Jan 2014. 3 years later, the first android Hi-Fi music player by Hidizs, AP200, was launched on Kickstarter, having since raised $280,000 with the support of 943 backers (all orders have been shipped!).

The AP80: Next Generation Ultraportable Hifi Music Player was launched in May 2018 - another collective effort supported by the audiophile community, having raised $240,000 from 1,795 backers. And in March 2019, IEMS MS4: Epic Hybrid Quad Drivers HiFi In-Ear Monitor Earphones, the latest in our range of crowdfunding successes, was launched (having since raised $110,000 from 475 backers, who have all received their orders).

The subsequent launch of the DH1000 Dual Balanced Amplifier, Mermaid MS1 Dynamic Drivers Monitor Earphones, Mermaid MS4 HiFi In-Ear Monitor Earphones, Sonata HD DAC Cable II Hi-Res Audio DAC Cable, and S8, S9 Hifi Decoding Amplifier have all been met with similar success.

The S2 is also the first professional Hi-Res audio DAC mini cable to use a DAC chip, in response to the demise of the 3.5 mm headphone input in most cell phones. Highly recommended by The Verge, the S2 has already surpassed over 200,000 units sold.
