HIDIZS ST2 PRO Review - UtmostCoin Reviews

The ST2 PRO Nebula feature a USB connection with a built-in DAC, eliminating the need for dongles. The 10mm dual-magnetic drivers offer a frequency range of 20 Hz to 40 kHz and 108 dB sensitivity, so keep the volume in check. The accessories include an oxygen-free copper cable, USB-C to USB-A adapter, ear tips, and a carry pouch, all in a clear design that highlights the internals.

The detachable cable is flexible, comfortable, and has basic controls (play/pause, skip, calls), though it lacks volume control. They fit well with glasses and stay comfortable for long periods.

The USB-C connection doubles as a DAC, improving sound without additional adapters. While the DAC’s sample rate indicator works for high-quality audio, I couldn’t get the blue light to flash on lower-tier services.

Sound-wise, these earbuds deliver great detail, with excellent separation on instrumental tracks like jazz. However, the bass can overpower mid-range vocals in some songs. They’re warm and bass-heavy but still balanced.

Comfort-wise, they’re lightweight and ideal for long sessions, but I wish they had volume and track controls without needing my phone. The built-in DAC provides excellent audio quality but may drain your phone’s battery quicker. For calls, the volume is loud even at low settings.

These earbuds shine for music streaming, especially jazz and instrumental genres, but bass-heavy tracks can muddy vocals and guitars. Songs like "R U Mine?" by Arctic Monkeys sounded well-balanced, while "Take Me Out" by Franz Ferdinand felt overwhelming.

Tracks like "Kick Back" by Kenyon and "Suki Darara" by Umi showed the earbuds’ strengths, with punchy bass and clear vocals, especially in R&B and Afrobeat.

These headphones favor powerful singers and warm sound. They’re great for casual listening but may not suit analytical listeners or complex mixes.
